The Middle East's largest and most exclusive collection of superyachts and recreational boats is now ready to be showcased at tomorrow’s opening of the 19th edition of the Dubai International Boat Show.

Dubai International Boat Show runs from March 1 – 5, 2011, at the Dubai International Marine Club – Mina Seyahi and is expecting over 25,000 boating enthusiasts from all over the Middle East. More than 750 exhibiting companies and brands from 42 countries will be participating in the five-day exhibition, acclaimed as one of the top five international boat shows in the world and the Middle East's leading destination for leisure marine trade and enthusiasts.

The show is open to the general public who will be amazed at the vast display of the most expensive yachts ever built in the world alongside the new SuperCar Promenade, which will parade the most celebrated names in luxury motoring. With special deals on everything from marine accessories to wake boards, jet skis, fishing boats, speed boats and luxury yachts, the 19th edition of the Dubai International Boat Show offers something for both the marine novice and the most experienced boating enthusiasts.

The event will also host the 5th Dive Middle East Exhibition (DMEX), the only dedicated diving exhibition in the region, offering live demos and trial dives for visitors. With four themed luxury hospitality lounges to choose from, along with our renown DJ appearing nightly spinning Cafe Del Mar tunes, the atmosphere at this year’s show is sure to delight boating enthusiasts and families looking for a wonderful day out.

Top-billed by a record-breaking 41 premieres – 11 World Launches and 30 Regional Debuts – the Dubai International Boat Show, highlighting a 20% increase this year, will be home to over 425 boats and yachts, while featuring an extensive selection of thousands of leisure marine products, accessories and value-added services cementing its position as the leading Boat Show in the Region.

Other exciting highlights include visitor prize draws from Al Masaood Marine, Art Marine Luxury Charters, Panasonic, Al Boom Diving and Sofitel Hotel, plus the DTCM Heritage Village – a favourite experiential glimpse into the rich maritime history of the Emirates.

Luxury yachts that will globally premiere at the event include the Riviera 60m from Riviera Boats, Gulf Craft's Majesty 70, Oryx 42 open and Silver Craft 38cc; and Al Dhaen Craft's Wave Breaker 500, Classica 470 and Pioneer 320, among others. ART Marine will headline the regional launches as it unveils eight new creations: Atlantis Verve 36, Azimut 48, Azimut 53, Azimut 72s, Four Winns 1800B, Grady White 306 and Numarine 102.

Visitors to the event will be able to gain easy access to the venue with free shuttle buses to and from the show from the Mall of the Emirates Metro Station, plus free parking on levels one and two of the Monorail Station Parking, Palm Jumeirah - including free shuttle buses throughout the day to and from the venue. Also, take the opportunity to experience the new RTA Water Bus free-of-charge during the show, to and from the unlimited visitor parking area on the breakwater.

The Dubai International Boat Show is open to trade visitors and the general public from 4pm to 9:30pm daily. Admission is AED 55 per person for all attendees without an invitation, while children under 12 will be admitted free of charge and must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Dubai International Boat Show will literally be stepping up a gear this year as it launches the inaugural ‘Supercar Promenade’ alongside another breathtaking display of the world’s most impressive superyachts. The most illustrious names in the motoring world, including Bentley, Brabus, Porsche and Rolls-Royce will headline the parade, with Hamann, one of the most inspirational car designers in the world, presenting its latest unique concept at an exclusive global preview – the Hamann Porsche Cayenne.

This exclusive motor showcase will also include one of a hundred limited edition models of the Invader L60. At a storming 0 to 100km in just 5.5 seconds, the L60 is both sleek and slick.

Running from March 1 to 5, 2011 at the Dubai International Marine Club – Mina Seyahi, the Dubai International Boat Show is the Middle East’s largest and longest running marine event, and this year, the introduction of the Supercar Promenade is guaranteed to attract another dimension of visitors.

Breaking last year’s record and further enhancing its position as one of the top five boat shows in the world, Dubai International Boat Show has already confirmed 33 regional and global launches of top yachting and boating brands, with plenty more expected before the show begins. This year will also see the event’s largest-ever gathering of SYBAss (Superyacht Builders Association) members, the world’s most prestigious superyacht association. This event’s Enhanced Superyacht Boulevard will display superyachts of 21 meters and above, while a Luxury Supplies and Services Area will exhibit the finest luxury interior designs, services and products. The 2011 Dubai International Boat Show will also feature an Equipment Suppliers and Services Area displaying deck fittings and fixtures, engines and navigation equipment and an External Area that will house high-speed powerboats, fishing and smaller leisure boats alongside water sports equipment, accessories and services.
